New works by early-career photographers Daniel Gustav Cramer; Nina Mangalanayagam; Sarah Pickering; Oliver Parker and Luke Stephenson enabled by the Jerwood Photography Awards.
The six artists were selected in response to an open call to photography practitioners who had recently graduated from a UK based educational institution. They each received an award of £2,500 to support the making of new work for this exhibition and their work was published by Portfolio Magazine.
The selectors were Gloria Chalmers, Editor, Portfolio Magazine; Andrew Dewdney, educationalist and writer; Patrick Henry, Director, Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool; Val Williams, writer and curator; and Bettina von Zwehl, visual artist.
