Rosie’s Disobedient Press focuses on writing from marginalised perspectives with a focus on queer, working class and feminist writers. The press works directly with artists to create unique projects on a small scale and across multiple forms; including online and printed publishing, writing, sound and live events.
Lisette and Adrien have been working together since 2016, when they began sharing a studio and were both exploring writing as part of their practices. Collaborating with other practitioners and what it can bring to the process of making across forms is central to both of their practices. Through collaboration, Rosie’s Disobedient Press is interdisciplinary in its approach and allows for further exploration of expanded forms of publishing.
