In Kasra’s practice, they often use speculative histories to re-tell stories through a queer lens. They work in a variety of mediums including moving-image, installation, drawing and text.
Their work has been showcased across the UK and internationally including: The ICA, BFI, Whitechapel Gallery, Nottingham Contemporary, Eastside Projects, Quench Gallery, Circa X Dazed Class of 2022, Ingram Prize 2022, Bomuldsfabriken: ARTendal, Trinity Square Video and a solo exhibition at GAVU: Academy of Fine Art Gallery. Upcoming residencies include Prospect Cottage and Level Arts Centre.
