Jennifer’s practice is interdisciplinary, encompassing theatre-making, live art, dance, folk dance, martial arts, co-creation and the excitement of a sports spectacle. Her work examines the ways women and girls use their bodies, the complexities of living between cultures, and interrogates the idea that space is intimately bound up with power.
Her solo work ENDURANCE was commissioned by HOME Manchester and transferred to Battersea Arts Centre. The work was shortlisted for the Stückemarkt at The Theatertreffen in 2022.
Her work has been supported by The Barbican Centre, MGCFUTURES, The Bank (Sheffield Theatres), EVOLVE (Oxford Playhouse), Developed With (The Lowry), and she was appointed a Leverhulme Arts Scholar in 2019 (The egg).
Jennifer has been supported by Jerwood New Work Fund 2022 and Live Work Fund.
