Two Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries 2017-19 have won awards at NDSF. Simon Panayi received The Buzz Goodbody Director Award, for his work on The Search for the Black-Browed Albatross; and the production which James Ashfield also worked on as Producer received The Festgoers’ Award. The Search for the Black-Browed Albatross will be at Pleasance Dome, Edinburgh from 1-9 August 2018.
Through the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries programme Simon Panayi joined New Wolsey Theatre as Assistant Director in January 2018 and James Ashfield joined Sheffield Theatres as a Fundraising Assistant in February 2018.
