Jerwood Art Fund Makers Open artist Cecilia Charlton has put together a reading list to share the research, ideas and inspirations that have fed into her commission Eternal myth and the poetry of the cosmos [fate, future, suture].
Cecilia’s commission is a large-scale hand-embroidery created using the Bargello needlepoint technique. It draws inspiration from the Greek myth of the Three Fates who spin, allot and cut the thread of life.
