Centre for Contemporary Art, Derry ̴Londonderry
Centre for Contemporary Art (CCA) is the leading arts organisation supporting emerging artists in Northern Ireland funded by ACNI and is situated in an interface area on the border city of Derry~Londonderry. Our programmes find ways to fulfill our mission: to create opportunities for audiences to experience ambitious, experimental and engaging art, and for emerging artists to develop successful careers. We do this through our programmes of curated exhibitions, public programmes, research, publishing, residencies and CCA Supports programme of Continual Professional Development. In 2021, CCA was shortlisted for Art Fund Museum of the Year.
Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA)
Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA) is an internationally renowned centre for contemporary art that enables audiences, artists and participants to see, experience and create. With two beautiful large-scale gallery spaces, two thriving cinema screens, a busy print studio, an award-winning learning programme, and a packed programme of events, workshops, classes and activities aimed at all ages and abilities, DCA is a vibrant cultural hub open to all, located in the heart of the city.
Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art (MIMA)
Middlesborough Institute of Modern Art connects art, people and ideas. MIMA is an international art gallery and museum. We commission, collect and re-think modern and contemporary art. We make creative, civic space. MIMA works closely with local and global partners to put art into action. We build public participation. A cultural and community hub, ethics of equity, diversity and inclusion drive our work. Part of Teesside University, MIMA is powered by a vision to positively contribute to society.
The School of Arts & Creative Industries, within Teesside University, offers creative degree courses. MIMA is at the heart of the School as a cultural hub and creative resource.
Peak Cymru

Peak Cymru is an arts organisation based in the Welsh Black Mountains. We collaborate with artists, young people and their communities, responding to our rural environment, landscape, culture and language. Together we shape a creative programme that supports ‘the gentle work of the future’, attending to social, racial and environmental justice in the context of South Wales. Peak has two bases: Platfform 2, at Abergavenny Train Station, and The Old School, Crickhowell.
Somerset House
Somerset House is London’s working arts centre and home to the UK’s largest creative community. Built on historic foundations, we are situated in the very heart of the capital.
Dedicated to backing progress, championing openness, nurturing creativity and empowering ideas, our cultural programme is ambitious in scope. We insist on relevance, but aren’t afraid of irreverence, and are as keen on entertainment as enrichment. We embrace the biggest issues of our times and are committed to oxygenating new work by emerging artists. Where else can you spend an hour ice-skating while listening to a specially commissioned sound piece by a cutting-edge artist?
It is this creative tension—the way we harness our heritage, put the too-often overlooked on our central stage and use our neo-classical backdrop to showcase ground-breaking contemporary culture—that inspires our programme. Old and new, history and disruption, art and entertainment, high-tech and homemade, combined with the fact that we are home to a constantly shape-shifting working creative community: this is our point of difference. Turner Contemporary
Turner Contemporary is one of the UK’s leading art galleries. Founded to celebrate JMW Turner’s connection to Margate in 2001, the David Chipperfield designed gallery opened in 2011. Our work extends beyond showcasing world class exhibitions, to driving the social and economic regeneration of Margate and East Kent and transforming lives in one of the most deprived areas of the UK.
Since it opened, Turner Contemporary has welcomed over 3.5million visits, put over £70million back into the Kent economy and connected with thousands of people from the local community through our world class programme.
Yorkshire Sculpture International
Yorkshire Sculpture International (YSI) is a collaborative project between the Henry Moore Institute, Leeds Art Gallery, The Hepworth Wakefield and Yorkshire Sculpture Park. In 2019, the first Yorkshire Sculpture International festival took place and featured a series of exhibitions, international commissions, events and learning programmes with sculpture on display across the four partner galleries and outdoors in Leeds and Wakefield. In summer 2021, YSI realised a summer programme of new sculpture commissions across the partner galleries featuring artists Akeelah Bertram, Claye Bowler, Nwando Ebizie and Ashley Holmes (all based in Yorkshire), with international co-commissions by Shezad Dawood (UK) and Ariel René Jackson (USA). Our engagement work with sculpture as the focus takes place throughout the year with local communities, schools and universities. We are working with over 50 artists from across Yorkshire through our sculpture network and community engagement programme.
