Over two years, PROPEL will fast-track two cohorts of six promising early-career professionals from Bradford’s diverse communities through their development. The programme will ready them as lead Producers and Production Managers to deliver bold new artistic work for Bradford 2025. Through PROPEL, participants will progress from delivering small-scale projects that reach 200 people to projects that reach more than 10,000. The selected participants will value their own skills and creative specialisms and will have the experience of scale that is needed to ensure artists’ visions are delivered to the best quality.
“Bradford Producing Hub is delighted that our PROPEL programme will be supported by the Jerwood Developing Artists Fund. Over the last three years, BPH has delivered a range of introductory training for local aspiring creatives. This has set the groundwork for this next phase, which will propel some of our most exciting talent to the next stages of their careers. We can’t wait to see what they deliver for Bradford 2025!” – Lisa Mallaghan, Director of Bradford Producing Hub.
Opening for applications: January 2024
