New works by early-career photographers Emma Hamilton; Travis Hodges; Sarah Lynch; Richard Page and Léonie Purchas enabled by the Jerwood Photography Awards.
The six artists were selected from over 664 submissions in response to an open call to photography practitioners who had recently graduated from a UK based educational institution. They each received an award of £2,500 to support the making of new work for this exhibition and their work was published by Portfolio Magazine.
The selectors were Gloria Chalmers, Editor, Portfolio Magazine; Duncan Forbes, Senior Curator, Scottish National Photography Collection; John Gill, independent curator; Amna Malik, writer; and Alexa Wright, visual artist.
