In Motion will support anyone working with music and sound to innovate fundamental breakthroughs in the way they make work and sustain their career. Over an in-depth 18-month period, 10 composers and music makers will be supported to explore new contexts and engage new audiences.
The 10 selected artists will design and undertake their own creative and professional journey, supported by our expert team. This will include a bursary and production budget, access to peer networks, skill sharing sessions, and guidance from accredited coaches and mentors.
The Jerwood Developing Artists Fund will support seven places on the programme, ring-fenced for composers at an early stage in their career. The fund supports the delivery of sector-leading programmes for artists, makers, curators and producers.
In Motion will open for national registration on Friday 8 December 2023, with the first cohort to the programme being introduced in early 2024.
