Glyndebourne’s Jerwood Young Artist Programme offers aspiring soloists from the Glyndebourne Chorus career-changing support and professional development over a full Glyndebourne Festival season.
Through the Jerwood Young Artist Programme singers with exceptional potential receive coaching from the very best professionals around the world and are given the opportunity to develop a solo role for one of the Festival operas, either through understudying or by performing a solo role. The programme has acted as a crucial catalyst for the development of aspiring soloists, many of whom are now performing regularly in opera houses throughout the UK and, in several cases, internationally.
The Jerwood Young Artists for 2022 are: Charlotte Bowden, Soprano; Patrick Alexander Keefe, Baritone; Cleo Lee-McGowan, Soprano and Jack Sandison, Bass Baritone.
