Having trained on the StartDirecting Cohort at the Iris Theatre, Ozioma gained her directorial debut for the sold out one man show, Before I Go at Theatre Peckham Fringe Festival. Along with this, she has gone on to direct scratch nights at Purple Moon Drama and was the Drama practitioner for devised musicals with Hackney Empire, Night Shade. Currently, she is in postproduction for a Comedy short film, Stairway to Heaven which she has written and directed herself and will soon be released.
Ozioma is now working at the Young Vic as a Jerwood Trainee Assistant Director on Further than the Furthest Thing written by Zinnie Harris directed by Jennifer Tang. Assistantships and Traineeships are a key part of the Young Vic’s Jerwood Artist Development Pathway. This Pathway is generously support by Jerwood Developing Artists Fund.
