Her practice revolves around translating literary and historical themes into tangible works, with particular emphasis on advocacy and interpretation of women’s history, archives and folklore.
Hannah’s Jerwood Bursary will enable her to undertake her first artist residency at The Spalding Gentleman’s Society in Lincolnshire. During her time there, Hannah will explore and research women’s participation in antiquarian circles, and will create a micro oral history archive focusing on contemporary perceptions of collecting and collections.
