Starting out in the events industry as a bar owner, Gail soon found herself as a co-owner of a live music venue, and quickly fell in love with both live events and the Bradford music scene. From this base, Gail spent 6 years presenting her own radio show on a local radio station and founded several notable local events, such as North Parade Street Party, Bradford Dragon Boat Festival, and more.
Gail has continued to grow her presence in the local music scene, now working with Bradford Council on Music Month, a month-long celebration of music in the district, and continuing her role as Landside Entertainment Lead & Treasurer for Bradford Dragon Boat Festival. In addition to her festival work, she is also the Programming Manager for The Underground Live Music Venue and works in freelance music management with local grassroots bands, such as Red Shakes.
