Together they presenting a weekend of experimental animation at Whitechapel Gallery and Close-Up Cinema on 9 and 10 December 2016. Forming part of the London International Animation Festival programme the weekend will showcase a range of contemporary work by British and international artists alongside classic and rarely seen historical works. Through a series of curated screening programmes, a public seminar and an accompanying publication, the event will provide a unique opportunity to see work at the cutting edge of moving image practice, and to discover connections and threads running through the many forms of experimental animation. Our support goes towards the projects as a whole which constitutes a significant step in the profile of Edwin’s curatorial career.
